This case is memorable because 1) I won an extremely difficult case; and 2) Mr. WN was really mean to me even after I won. This case was not even assigned to me but I took it from a fellow public defender because he was giving him such a hard time. We were able to show that the drugs that the police claimed were his were not actually in his possession. The police were essentially harassing and prosecuting this man for being homeless and in proximity to drugs.
