When a defendant has been wrongfully arrested or charged, Arizona law gives them the possibility to petition for a Clearance of Records. The Superior Court can require notation on all court records, police records and other related records that the person has been cleared. Furthermore, the petitioner can also ask for the records to be sealed. This is what I obtained for my client, and the Clearance of Records ensures justice was served.
