Mr. HR was fifteen when accused of robbing someone’s phone at gun point. He was facing seven to twenty-one years of prison. At trial I proved he did not have a weapon and that the alleged victim, also a teenager, was lying about the gun because he was embarrassed about having his phone taken from him. He was convicted of a misdemeanor theft and served no jail time.
