Ms. VF was charged with Manslaughter after a child was killed in her home. This case has to be one of the saddest cases I have ever worked on but I do believe that my client was absolutely unfairly charged and this was just a horrible accident and not a crime. We were able to negotiate a plea that did not involve mandatory jail/prison time for her which is significant because anytime there is a tragedy of this caliber, the State is looking to put people in prison and there is a lot of risk for the Defendants.
